Upcoming Trips
Unashamed Missions has several trips planned for the near future. We completely rely on God to let us know where and when to go, but below are some opportunities that He has already revealed to us. Not all have definite dates and some could be planned that have not been updated on the website yet. Please contact us if you would like to join a trip. We are also open to setting up a custom trip for your group.
Our current trips are as follows:
May 1-8, 2010 - Rescheduling
Haiti Relief
We are planning a trip to Haiti to build shelters, but the dates are dependent on when we can get materials in. We are teaming up with Med Missions to provide medical and IADDIC Shelters to provide housing to the Hatians. Provided we can get the financial backing
we are planning to build at least 60 shelters on this trip. The accomodations and travel plans are yet unknown, but we are working on it as information becomes available. We are currently planning to bring one man tents and may also bring food in with us. This will be a fairly hardcore trip, but filling a huge need. We had set dates on this, but due to the port being closed, we are not able to get our construction materials in and are therefore rescheduling. If you are interested, please e-mail us and we will update you when we have more information.
Shelter Building Materials Cost: $2000 per shelter
Trip Cost: $1500 per person - includes airfare, transportion, and food.

July 10-17, 2010
Family Trip to Ruines de Copan, Honduras
We have back to back trips planned for this coming July. The first trip is a family trip with a team comprised mostly of Valley Creek Church and Heritage Church members, however the trip is open to anyone who wants to come serve. We currently are planning to build two churches and will also provide medical and dental brigades, vacation bible school (VBS) for local children, and evangelism to surrounding villages. On this trip we will stay in a hotel in Ruines de Copan.
Church Building Materials Cost: Allowance in cost below
Trip Cost: $1800 per person - includes airfare, hotel, transportion, and a building material allowance

Student Trip to Ruines de Copan, Honduras
The second of our back to back trips is for the Valley Creek Church Youth. We are taking High School Students (Only) and their parents and the youth leadership. This trip is only open to those involved with the youth at Valley Creek Church. Please contact
Mathew DeBlanc, Valley Creek Student Ministry Pastor if you are interested in going.
We currently are planning to build a church and will also provide medical and dental brigades, vacation bible school (VBS) for local children, and evangelism to surrounding villages. On this trip we will stay in a hotel in Ruines de Copan. This will be our fifth trip to this region, so we are very familiar with it and have found it to be very safe. The Copan area has fantastic Mayan Ruines that can be toured and zip line excursions available (at an additional cost)if time permits.

NEED TEAM -
Church on Rio Patuca, Honduras - 7 m x 9 m Church
This church build will be in a remote village off of the Rio Patuca with our freind and local missionary Silber Salgado. We will be taking a pupante (boat made from a hollowed out tree) up the river and then hiking into the church site. We will most likely be staying in tents near the construction site. We will also evangelize in the area and if possible, hold medical clinics.

Promise Home Orphanage near El Progresso, Honduras
 
We have partnered with "Promise Home" who is building a new orphanage in El Progresso, Honduras. They have a vision to build a 13 building orphanage complex. We will assist them with at least one dormatory building for the children. On this trip we will be staying in a mission house for Promise Home.

Trip Cost: $700 per person plus airfare
