Near the village of La Balsa in Honduras, we rebuilt a 250 feet long suspension bridge that was in very bad shape. This bridge is the only way kids could cross the river to get to their school on the other side. It also connects two parts of the village where XMA had built a church the previous year.
When we arrived the brige was in very bad shape. Kids had to cross the bridge to get to the school in La Balsa.
Most of the boards were either missing or rotted through
We had lots of "little helpers".
A long way to go still...
In the evening we had a great time sharing with the locals
We completely rebuilt the bridge in three days with lots of help from God
Our reward for finishing early was a zip line canopy tour in the jungle with 19 zip lines total
